• litsea cubeba, which has a crisp, citrus smell. It has been compared to lemongrass and lemon verbena.

• the flowering tops of lavender avandula angustifolia from New Zealand, a floral, fresh, light, sweet oil, that has aromatic benefits such as helpful for acne, dermatitis, wet and dry eczema, insect bites, rashes, burns, regulating fluid retention which causes puffy skin. In massage oil it unwinds tense and tight muscles. In a therapeutic bath it calms fretful children and encourages slumber. (adapted from Aromaticsandmore.com ).

• the flowering tops of ylang ylang cananga odorata from Madagascar, a floral, heady, oriental, sweet oil, that has aromatic benefits useful in floral perfumes. Yes, I absolutely love the Honeysuckle as it resonates so much with me;it's a favourite scent from childhood and I wear it when I'm in session with a client as well as any other time.  I'm a perfume addict!!!  I never feel complete without a scent.  Normally I don't wear florals of any type as I wear a more sophisticated perfume such as Ysatis but the honeysuckle is more the real me.

jasmine nite

I haven't tried them all yet because I instantly sprang for the Jasmine ones (the alcohol based as well as the oil) and
as I imagined they were/are simply devine.  They actually took me back to when I was only 4-5 years old.  As a child I
use to mess around in my sisters room and she was right into incense sticks, oils and pot pourri and as soon as I
spread the oil over my skin, that's where the scent took me.

note from est perfumes - the "jasmine nite" behaved very well since dry skin is typically difficult. What I mean is

• Perfume often has trouble "bonding" to dry skin. Put a little Vaseline on your pulse points or a tiny drop of baby oil and rub in well before applying your perfume (in the same place). The Vaseline or baby oil helps bond the scent to your skin
• Perfumes also tend to last longer on oily skin because oily skin has more natural moisture to hold in the scent, as small amounts are released throughout the day. You can mimic oily skin by applying baby oil or Vaseline before the perfume. Recall that Vaseline or baby oil helps bond the scent to your skin and makes it last longer. You can alternatively scent a small cotton ball and place inside your bra for a long lasting scented impression. Daily activity will generate sweat and heat from your breasts which brings out the aroma of the perfume. Careful because too much perfume and you will be overpowered all day long!

Perfume aroma will change depending on your skin type (oily skin holds perfume longer than dry skin) – this is a complex interplay between the oil and minerals of the perfume and the moisture secreted by glands beneath the skin's surface, plus the elements that form the skin.
